Bibliography: Patricia F. Meleski, Echoes of the Past. New Mexico’s Ghost Towns(Albuquerque, New Mexico: University of New Mexico Press, 1972), pages 81,82, photographs of the entryway.
Remarks: Valverde, about 20 miles south of Socorro, has been deserted for some time. The school is attributed to Trost & Trost on visual evidence. The school, or at least the entry, was probably like Central High School (NMCENTE.001). The entry and part of the walls are seen in the photograph.
