Remarks: The St. Regis Hotel first appears in city directory in 1906. El Paso newspaper accounts have attributed the hotel to Henry C. Trost. Although the date is right for Trost, the author believe, based on photographs of the exterior and dining room, that the hotel was not the work of Trost & Trost.
The hotel open on August 17, 1905
