Remarks: The two sheets of plans are essentially the same building, though the rooms are smaller in one, and the drawings are by two different hands. Presumably the hotel was planned for people who had business at the courthouse, and may have been intended for the lot across the street to the West.
The stepped-up U-shape plan is unique in the work of Trost & Trost. It bears some resemblance to the Castle Apartments in Albuquerque
