Bibliography: The American Architect, Current Notes and Comment, volume CII, No. 1914, August 28, 1912, page 12, states that Trost & Trost are drawing plans for Dr. Moran, and the budget. On Dr. Moran see Luna County Historical Society, History of Luna County, New Mexico, Supplement 1 (Deming, New Mexico: Luna County Historical Society, Inc. 1982), page 43.
Remarks: The house has not been located with certainty. However, the much-remodeled office and manager’s residence of the Butterfield Trail Motel on Interstate 10 was originally a Craftsman style house of the sort that Trost & Trost built at this time.
* The funeral notice states Dr. Moran lived at 308 W. Pine in Deming, New Mexico. His office was in the Mahoney building
