Remarks: The New Mexico State University archive photographs of 1922 show that the building included a Western Telegraph office. Interior views show the Mine Rescue Corps, and men attending a class in coal mine rescue. The Company offices may also have been housed in this building. The coal mine closed in 1950, and the community gradually disappeared.
