Remarks: The Trost building was designed to be built in two parts on a long, narrow lot, and to replace a courthouse of 1916. The 1916 building was demolished to make way for a parking lot for the courthouse building of 1969 on an adjacent lot. We are indebted to Deputy Britt Snyder of the Sheriff’s Department for providing information on the courthouse.
